GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ALBUQUERQUE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER -  KAT OSWALD PHOTOGRAPHY

DETAILS ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE...

Are you are searching for a photographer that matches your vision for documenting your love, your family, your life, and your children - the special things that represent your family?  It's an honor to have you here and I am glad you're taking the time to get details about my vision and the experience you can expect from Kat Oswald Photography.

I believe childhood is magical, whimsical, and completely authentic and family is love at its purest.  I aim to capture the beautiful bond between parent and child, the bravery of little ones as they explore, the love between parents, and the uniqueness of every family I get the pleasure of photographing.  During each photo session, I encourage kids to be kids, and families to be comfortable just being themselves.  It is important for your session to be an honest representation of your family and the love you share.

My sessions are designed to tell your story, reveal raw emotion and authentic connections, capture life in a beautiful and artistic way and to document those precious ordinary moments that we all too often take for granted.  The love of family, the adoration of couples, natural sibling interactions, - it is all so very precious and I take great pride in capturing these beautiful memories for you to share and relive over and over.

My style is clean, simple and modern, reflective of natural light and a love of life.

Each session is customized and designed to be personal to you and your family.

If your child loves horses – bring the horse(s) to the shoot or I'll meet you at the stable, if your family loves the outdoors let me know what park, open field, or hiking trail holds great memories, if your family loves to garden we'll do your session in your backyard, if your daughter loves to wear your heels with her princess dress - bring them, if your son refuses to get out of his PJ's or demands to wear a superhero costume, it's all perfectly fine…  even encouraged!!

Your session is not about me – it’s about you, and what I can create for you.

I want to capture what makes you and your family unique and I welcome your ideas.  The most important things to me in a session are to capture elements of real life, real relationships, real expressions, and real connections between people who love each other.  You let me know your interests and your vision, then we'll collaborate to make sure they come through in your photographs.

My business is small and personal.

Most of my clients come to me through referrals, so I deeply value the connections I make to clients and to my community.  To keep my business small and personal, I only accept a small number of clients each month. I consider it an honor to have been able to be part of, and capture, so many of life's beautiful moments for so many families and to have so many families return to me year after year.

My approach to each session is modern, fun and fresh

It is important to me to keep things simple, honest and focused on the people and emotions in each photograph to capture honest beauty.  I tend to let things unfold naturally during my portrait sessions and do more gentle guiding, interacting and natural connection-based posing.  This approach allows me to capture those special connections and moments - a purity that is genuine and unique to only you and your family.

All that aside, the most important thing you should know about me is how much I value my clients. I cherish being their photographer, and I completely understand that each client has a choice in whom they choose to trust to photograph their moments.  I am repeatedly humbled, and ecstatic, when they choose me time and time again and I am honored each time clients refer me to their friends and family.

Each session is completely personalized, unique to you and reflecting your love, life and happiness.

I have to finish by saying that it is through God that I discovered this talent and have this business.  I hope that I can bless others though it, because I have surely been blessed by it!!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and learn about my style & approach to photography.  I hope for the opportunity to meet you!!  Whether you are here just to browse my work, or to schedule a session, I hope you enjoy what you see.  Regardless, I'm so happy you are here!  If you love my work, please contact me so we can start planning your session together.
