The most commonly asked question surrounding family portraits is always, "Where should we have our family portraits taken" and "What location is best for us?".  To be honest, although any location will work, it's best to put some thought into what location speaks to you and reflects your family best.

ELENA GALLEGOS

Off Tramway and Simms Road, this Albuquerque location offers a very southwest look and definitely shows off the beautiful New Mexico scenery and Sandia Mountains.  There is a parking fee of $1 on weekdays and $3 on weekends per vehicle.  There are plenty of areas to photography your family portrait session right off the park lot area, or you can walk/hike a few miles - it's completely up to you.  A paved trail is available for strollers and wheelchairs, although most of the area has dirt or rock trails.  Sessions are most commonly held slightly off the trail in grassy areas.  Please be prepared for uneven terrain, cacti, and wildlife.
